How we work
Six stages, no mystery. Most searches run from scope to signed offer in eight to twelve weeks.
Scope
A working session on the role itself — what the person actually has to do in the first year, the shape of the package, and the profile that plausibly delivers it. This is also where we tell you if what you're describing doesn't exist at the price you have in mind.
Market map
A written view of where the sellers sit — company by company, team by team. You see the map before we approach anyone, and you tell us who is off-limits.
Approach
Outreach is direct, personal and confidential. Your name is not used until you want it used — many of the strongest people are only reachable this way, and few companies want their hiring plans read by their competitors.
Shortlist
A small, calibrated shortlist with written assessments — what each person has actually sold, into which markets, at what deal size, against what quota, and what would make them move. Not a stack of CVs.
Through to offer
Reference work, offer structuring, and honest handling of the resignation and the counter-offer. Senior sales hires are lost at this stage more often than at any other.
Guarantee
Every placement carries a replacement guarantee, with the terms set out in writing before the search begins.
Fees
Fees and terms are agreed in writing before a search begins, and reflect the seniority and difficulty of the assignment. We're glad to walk through the structure on a first call.
We work on engaged and retained bases rather than pure contingency. It means we take on fewer searches, and it means the ones we take on get worked properly.
Considering a search?
We take on a small number of assignments at a time. If you're hiring senior sales in fintech, a short confidential call is the place to start — we'll give you an honest read on the market for the role before either of us commits to anything.
