If we've contacted you
You weren't picked off a database. Here's how we work, and what you can expect from us.
Your details go nowhere without your say-so
We do not forward your CV, your profile, or your name to any client without asking you first, every time. If a conversation with us goes no further, it ends there and nothing leaves our hands.
We'll tell you what we can, as soon as we can
Some searches are confidential, which means we can't name the client in a first message. What we can tell you straight away is the kind of business it is, the shape of the role, and roughly what it pays. Once you've told us you're open to a real conversation, we tell you exactly who it is — before you ever speak to them.
We won't waste your time
We contact people because there is a specific role we think fits them, not to build a pipeline. No mass mailings, no “just touching base,” and no calls that turn out to be about a job well below where you are.
How we found you
Almost always from your public professional profile, or from someone in the market who rates you. If you'd like to know specifically, ask — we'll tell you.
If you'd rather we didn't
Say so once and that's the end of it. We'll delete your details on request and won't contact you again. Our privacy notice explains how that works.
